मुम्बई: भारतीय क्रिकेट टीम को शनिवार को वानखेड़े स्टेडियम में खेले गए अपने दूसरे अभ्यास मैच में दक्षिण अफ्रीका के हाथों चार रनों से हार मिली. मेहमान टीम ने भारत के सामने जीत के लिए 197 रनों का लक्ष्य रखा था लेकिन भारतीय टीम निर्धारित ओवरों की समाप्ति तक पांच विकेट पर 192 रन ही बना सकी.
भारत की ओर शिखर धवन ने सबसे अधिक 73 रन बनाए जबकि सुरेश रैना ने 41 तथा कप्तान महेंद्र सिंह धौनी ने नाबाद 30 रन जोड़े. युवराज सिंह 16 रनों पर नाबाद लौटे.
भारत ने रोहित शर्मा (10), विराट कोहली (1) और अजिंक्य रहाणे (11) के विकेट सस्ते में गंवा दिए थे लेकिन इसके बाद धवन और रैना ने स्कोर को 142 तक पहुंचाया.
इसी योग पर दोनों आउट हुए. रैना हालांकि रिटायर्ड आउट हुए. धवन ने 53 गेंदों पर 10 चौके लगाए जबकि रैना ने 26 गेंदों पर तीन चौके और दो छक्के जड़े.
इसके बाद युवराज और कप्तान ने छठे विकेट के लिए 4 ओवरों में 51 रन जोड़े. अंतिम दो ओवरों में भारत को 28 रनों की जरूरत थी लेकिन दोनों बल्लेबाज तमाम प्रयास के बाद भी 23 रन ही जुटा सके.
कप्तान ने 16 गेंदों की नाबाद पारी में चार चौके और छक्का लगाया जबकि युवराज ने आठ गेंदों पर एक चौका और एक छक्का जड़ा.
यह भारत की बीते 12 मैचों में दूसरी बार है. भारत ने अपने पहले अभ्यास मैच में वेस्टइंडीज को 45 रनों से हराया था. अब भारत को विश्व कप के मुख्य दौर में न्यूजीलैंड से 15 मार्च को भिड़ना है. यह मैच नागपुर में होगा.
इससे पहले, दक्षिण अफ्रीका ने टॉस जीतकर पहले बल्लेबाी करते हुए निर्धारित 20 ओवरों में नौ विकेट पर 196 रन बनाए.
दक्षिण अफ्रीका की ओर से ज्यां पॉल ड्यूमिनी ने सबसे अधिक 67 रन बनाए जबकि क्विंटन डी कॉक ने 56 रन जोड़े.
डी कॉक ने 33 गेंदों का सामना कर सात चौके और दो छक्के लगाए जबकि ड्यूमिनी ने 44 गेंदों की तूफाी पारी में छह चौके और तीन छक्के जड़े.
भारत की ओर से हार्दिक पंड्या ने 36 रन देकर तीन विकेट लिए. मोहम्मद समी और जसप्रीत बुमराह ने दो-दो विकेट लिए लेकिन बुमराह ने चार ओवरों में 51 रन लुटा दिए.
